Why 871 of Leishape's 1,065 live ads are for one pair of leggings. How the product became the hook, what their third most-shown ad still does right second by second, the relay format that turns one script into a crowd, 21 openers to steal, and five ways to make your own product show off.

Some products don't need a clever ad. They need the first frame.

A woman with her back to the camera lifts her leather skirt. For a second it looks like bare skin. The caption says "This should be illegal 🤩🔥".

Then two more women: "From this to this, these are literally the best invention ever."

They're fleece-lined leggings that look like sheer tights. Nobody has explained anything yet, and you've already looked twice.

That's the first six seconds of a 51-second ad from Leishape, and it's the brand's third most-shown ad right now, out of 1,009 ranked. Leishape has 1,065 ads live. 871 of them send people to the same product page: the thermal leggings. Their 11 most-shown ads are all leggings. And 780 of the ads they've run in the last 90 days use the exact same caption, word for word. The only thing that changes is the video.

That tells you the product is doing the selling. The leggings come with an optical illusion built in. They pass for bare legs, so every video gets a free double take, and the hooks barely need writing: "Calm down, I'm not showing you my butt." "No, I'm not naked, girl."

But don't file it under lucky product. In October, another store started selling near-identical tights, with the same "Girls…" style of caption and the same Buy 2, Get 1 Free offer. It launched 12 video ads. Ten were switched off within two days. Every one of Leishape's 20 most-shown live ads has been running for at least 15 days.

The product gets you the hook. The ad still has to do the rest, and Leishape's does it well: the product shows up before anyone speaks, one script gets split across a crowd of women, and every claim gets proven on camera.

We call it showing off: if your product does something people can see, the first frame is the product doing it.

Every number here comes from Atria's ad library, as of 2 November 2026. We went through the #3 ad frame by frame, read its transcript, grouped the openers across everything Leishape ran in the last 90 days, and searched the library for other brands whose product does the work in the first three seconds.

This playbook turns it into something you can brief on Monday: the second-by-second breakdown, the relay format, the openers, five ways to make a product show off, and a prompt that writes your first one.
